Job Description
Commercial Printing Press Operator – minimum 5 years Offset printing press experience
Innovative and growing specialty-print manufacturer since 1993, located in Maplewood, MO, looking for experienced and accomplished PRINTING PRESS OPERATOR to help setup, operate and maintain our unique blend of 2-color OFFSET presses and DIGITAL printing presses.
Duties will include:
· Printing on OFFSET and cmyk DIGITAL printing press equipment.
· Operating specialty TAG Manufacturing finishing equipment.
· Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing press machinery and equipment issues.
Helpful experience includes:
1. Strong mechanical aptitude including ability to understand mechanical concepts.
2. Technical school classes of any kind, (i.e. in St Louis: Ranken, Vatterott, etc.).
3. Knowledge of hydraulics, small pump systems, gear-driven machinery and basic electrical.
4. Strong work ethic, attention to detail.
5. Quality focused.
6. “People” person.
DAY shift hours: M-F. Overtime as needed.
